Gossip Girl: To Ben Or Not To Ben

I spent most of this week's episode of Gossip Girl distracted by Damien's self-tanner. In the moments I wasn't blinded by his orange complexion, I was repulsed by Serena's attraction to Ben. It's been years since she has spent any time with this man and now she is willing to give up her family to be with him? Ridiculous.

I am still really loving the Chuck/Reina romance. It's adorable that they both grew up in hotels and that they are finding new common bonds. I like that she can be the alpha dog as well as vulnerable and feminine.

I cracked up throughout the episode as Blair tried to push Nate and Epperly together. I also thoroughly enjoyed Epperly exit speech, during which she told Blair, "if James Franco could do it, so can you." Ha!

Next week's episode will air on Valentine's Day and apparently there is some high drama in store. XOXO.

  1. Ben totally gives me the heebie-jeebies. At the end when he asked her if she had to choose between him or her family? Skeevie!
    And yes, Damien's complexion was blatantly fake. Also, I didn't realize until this episode that I missed Nate. He's been getting less screen time lately and I miss the pretty.
