On my last night in New York City I met up with three of my closest childhood friends at Nizza on the corner of 45th Street and 9th Avenue.
From my seat I was taking in all the wine themed decorations which included rows of wine bottles lining the ceiling.
My other two friends ordered the braised artichoke hearts as an appetizer, which came with two artichoke hearts stuffed with parmesan cheese and bread crumbs. The dish got a so-so review.
Nizza was great, our waiter was very attentive and the food was delicious. If you're looking for a great pre-theater meal, I'd highly recommend it.
After dinner, one of the friends and I decided to walk from Nizza (45th and 9th Avenue) back to her apartment at 33rd and 3rd Avenue. It was a beautiful night and I always love walking through the city. Just a few blocks before reaching her apartment we decided to stop for dessert at an incredibly beautiful place. More on that in the next post!
