I first discovered Boston-based Wicked Peacock on a friend's Instagram feed. She was sharing a series of photos of amazing statement pieces of jewelry and they were all tagged Wicked Peacock. I assumed this was a new designer I hadn't heard of yet.
Turns out Wicked Peacock is a new website, based right in here in Boston, highlighting handmade jewelry from local designers. After my first ten minutes on the site I started to feel like Wicked Peacock is the beautiful, stylish love child of AHA Life and Etsy. It has the personal curation of AHA Life and the artist-centric approach of Etsy.
So what have I been lusting after on Wicked Peacock? Allow me to introduce you to my obsessions.
I am crazy for this Peter Pan collar necklace with hot pink roses by LAB by Laura Busony. I love the Peter Pan collar trend on shirts and sweaters, but this piece is even better!
midnight blue druzy ring accented with gold hearts. The ring is designed by Rachel Pfeffer.
Folklorica in Newton Centre. Now I gravitate towards that stone every time I see it. In addition, my birthstone is sapphire so I magnetize toward the color blue. And let's face it, when do I not want to wear hearts? J'adore.
For the past two years I've been in a major bracelet phase. I'd say I've spent about 10% of my annual salary on bangle bracelets. While perusing Wicked Peacock I noticed this double wrap leather bracelet by Jewelry by Jurate. The style is nautical meets Chanel.
Lastly, on a more simple note, I think these sterling silver anchor hoops by E. Scott Originals are adorable. I can see them so easily with a jean jacket, a striped dress or a cute top and shorts. Perfect for all of you Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket peeps.
